NOS can be used by food and drink employers in a number of ways to help develop employee appraisals:

  • Identify areas of development for employees
  • Consider career progression routes
  • Create job recruitment material
  • Write job descriptions
  • Support employees moving into new job roles

NOS are also used to inform the development of competence based qualifications including Improve Proficiency Qualifications and Apprenticeships.
